Graduated from the Culinary Institute of passion, Jean-Pierre will prepare your first meal of the day with a great deal of care and attention. Enjoy one of his delicious full breakfasts either in the dining room or on weekends, weather permitting, in our garden gazebo.
On the menu
Whenever possible in season, we use only the freshest local produce in our dishes. If you have allergies or intolerances, let Jean-Pierre know at time of booking and he'll prepare a scrumptious breakfast taking into consideration your dietary restrictions.
Our famous home made granola with vanilla yogourt and fresh fruit or oven-baked grapefruit are two welcome starters to a savory or sweet main dish. Here are a few of JP's most popular dishes:
Omelet stuffed with rocket and brie
Fluffy 2-egg omelet filled with rocket or spinach and brie cheese, delicately folded and finished in the oven. Served with a spring mixed salad and kumatos or black cherry tomatoes drizzled with black olive oil and white balsamic vinegar.
Scrambled eggs Vieux Moulin
One of the special ingredients in this popular egg dish inspired by Chez Maxim's of Paris' Eggs Magda, is a good quality Dijon mustard. Cooked to fluffy perfection, it is typically served with ham.
JP's famous stuffed french toast
Two pieces of raisin-cinnamon bread stuffed with cream cheese and slivered almonds, dipped in an egg batter, fried then topped with succulent local maple syrup and a heap of fresh fruit. Mmm-mm!
