Access and shared spaces
Access to the B&B and common areas reserved for our clients were designed to ensure your privacy. A private entrance with combination lock allows comings and goings at all times. The small sitting room/library containing approximately 300 books of various genres, is also a convenient place to spend time with your traveling companions outside your room. The garden gazebo (incl. access to the BBQ for a moderate fee) and its magnificient view of the Ottawa River is an ideal place for a meal or a cocktail on a warm summer day. The guest pantry with its full-size refrigerator, microwave oven, dishes, flatware, ice-bucket, water cooler, coffee-maker, kettle, tea, coffee, and herbal teas is without doubt the most used common area.
Cyclists and motocyclists welcome!
At Vieux Moulin B&B, cyclists and motocyclists can sleep soundly knowing that their bike or motorcycle is stored in a safe place. We are located less than 5 km from the PPJ Cyclopark, the Pontiac's 92 km cycling path and natural park.
In winter, the cycling path is open to snowmobiles.
Nearby services and activities
Near Vieux Moulin B&B in the charming village of Bryson, is a convenience store, family restaurant, boat launch and dock, two parks, a beach (unsupervised) and a Catholic church. (Other faiths available within 10-20 minutes.) Within 10 km are a grocery store and pharmacy, and the Pontiac Hospital is located 15 km away.
